Proficiency rates are calculated by taking the percentage of students within each grade at each school who are either advanced or proficient and multiplying by total number of students who participated in the test. The district-level values are aggregated across all schools within the district, then divided by total number of participating students within the district.

Note: Data is not available for 2020 and there was insufficient data for grade 8 in 2021. During the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 academic years, the State Department of Education requested a waiver of accountability which would amend some reporting requirements, including academic achievement, due to disruptions from the COVID-19 pandemic.
