Crossover Kids

Crossover

Crossover Kids is committed to restoring our community through our after-school and summer programming for elementary school students in the Hawthorne neighborhood. We strive to help families develop children who will go into their adolescent years with an appreciation for education, a growing hunger to know God, and a deep passion to love their neighbors as themselves. Our programs include activities that cover Reading, Bible, Recreation, and S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) and are led by our College and High School Leaders (known as our College Leaders and StreetLeaders)! For more information on how to get involved in our programs, please email elizabethh@crossoverimpact.org.

Advocacy

Restore Hope Ministries

It is important to work on system-level solutions to the issues our clients face alongside the daily needs they may request for assistance. Restore Hope provides a voice for our neighbors and encourages citizens to be engaged in this effort as well. Over the last two years, Restore Hope advocated for two bipartisan changes to the Oklahoma Residential Landlord Tenant Act to provide for a more balanced and stable rental environment in our state.

School Preparedness

Restore Hope Ministries

Education is a powerful tool to break the cycle of poverty and Restore Hope's "Project School Supplies" helps provide those tools to assist students in need. In 2023, Restore Hope provided supplies to 1,135 students from Pre-Kindergarten to 12th Grade in public schools in Tulsa County.

Homeless Prevention

Restore Hope Ministries

Restore Hope has been helping families prevent homelessness for over 30 years, with success rates over 99%. In 2022-2023, Restore Hope helped 1,219 families with $3,801,904 in rent assistance.

Hunger Reduction

Restore Hope Ministries

Every day, one in five children in Tulsa County is undernourished. Hunger impacts every aspect of a person - body, mind, and soul. Restore Hope is committed to reducing hunger in our community. During FY 2022-2023 Restore Hope distributed 232,922 pounds of food to 814 families.
