SERVICE DESCRIPTION
Provides assistance with legal problems such as evictions, unemployment insurance, stimulus payments, healthcare and insurance access, foreclosure, and federal income taxes problems, as well as other legal assistance, whether or not related to COVID-19, such as domestic violence, divorce where domestic violence is present, garnishment, bankruptcy, foreclosure, eviction, guardianship issues, child care and DHS appeals, occupational or drivers' license problems, obtaining an ID, unemployment compensation, and social security disability, terminations and overpayments and obtaining entitlements such as Medicaid, food stamps. May assist with some felony or misdemeanor expungement cases and appointment of counsel where statutorily entitled in civil cases.
