Family Support Services
SERVICE DESCRIPTION
Offers a Christian based program for adults with intellectual disabilities. Program activities include: life skills training, fitness activities, community volunteerism and spiritual growth. Students and families can choose an in-person class schedule, a virtual class schedule, or a hybrid of both in-person and virtual classes.
SERVICE HOURS
Mon-Fri 9am-5pm; students may enroll part-time (as little as 3 hours per week) or full-time (40 hours per week). Year round and summer programs are available.
INTAKE PROCEDURE
Application required, visit website to submit enrollment inquiry.
FEES
Set fee; sliding scale and scholarships are available.
ELIGIBILITY
Must be 18 years of age or older with intellectual disability, have ability to care for personal needs such as eating and restroom, must administer required medications independently, and cannot require one-on-one assistance or exhibit harmful behavior. Teens 16 years of age or older are eligible to attend the program over the summer months. For online-only classes: Must be an individual 16 years of age or older with an intellectual or developmental disability. No other eligibility requirements for online classes.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
Must provide 2 years proof of income for sliding fee scale assistance.
