OPSAC facilitates the accreditation process via approved accrediting agencies for Oklahoma's private schools. This ensures
compliance with the State Board of Education and approval from the State Superintendent. It is not an accrediting agency but is a commission of agencies that oversee the standards and compliance with state and federal rules. The list of private schools provided is a list of OPSAC member schools. The schools which have been approved by OPSAC for membership are responsible for providing standards for its schools in the following areas: philosophy and objectives; organization, governance, and finance; plant and facilities; program; and administration and staffing.
