This metric shows household proximity to the following types of community amenities: Schools, Health Care, Social Services, Financial Services, Eating Places, Libraries, Parks, Retail, Social Clubs, Places of Worship, Arts & Entertainment, Healthy Food Sources.

Proximity is defined as the rate of households within a .5 mile distance from amenities listed. We combined this rate into a weighted average and put the average on a scale of 1-5, with 5 being the highest proximity. We used Tulsa County Assessor data to determine the number of household units and Overture data for the locations of amenities.
